Polyte Solet was an artist, sailor, and adventurer.
In the 1970s, during his voyage to southern Chile, he was captivated by a local hardwood called Persea Lingue. Combining this material with shipbuilding techniques, he designed and crafted this chair. Each wooden strip was hand-cut, resulting in clean and flowing lines. The footrest incorporates a dolphin tail shape.
Due to Solet’s deep love for the ocean, many of his works reflect elements of nature and animals.
